TONIGHT: FSW Concert Band show Tuesday night

The FSW Spring Concert Series starts tonight. The FSW music department is putting on four concerts this month and all four concerts are free and open to the public. The first concert is tonight, April 2, when the FSW Concert Band will put on “The Music of Mexico and Cuba” at 7:30 p.m. at the Barbara B. Mann Preforming Arts Hall on the campus of Florida SouthWestern State College.

The audience will be treated to traditional Mexican and Cuban music pieces including a variety of vibrant and lively tunes.

The next three concerts are:

• FSW Jazz Big Band | Tuesday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. | Barbara B. Mann Preforming Arts Hall.

• Chamber Music Recital | Thursday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m. | Rush Library Atrium J-117/118.

• FSW String & Choir Ensembles (Guitar Ensemble in the lobby at 6:30 p.m.) | Thursday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m. | Barbara B. Mann Preforming Arts Hall.

Barbara B. Mann Preforming Arts Hall is at 13350 FSW Parkway in Fort Myers.
