Calusa Waterkeeper to host annual meeting and awards luncheon ‘Our Water, Our Future, Ours to Protect’

TV host, conservationist, and fishing guide Captain Benny Blanco will be guest speaker

Calusa Waterkeeper, a prominent environmental advocacy organization committed to preserving and protecting the water resources of the Caloosahatchee River and its watershed, announces its highly anticipated annual meeting and awards luncheon “Our Water, Our Future, Ours to Protect”. The event will take place at The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village on Sunday, March 24 from 2 to 4 p.m.

This significant gathering will bring together community leaders, environmentalists, and supporters to celebrate the organization’s achievements over the past year and discuss upcoming initiatives to safeguard the region’s vital waterways.

The luncheon will feature distinguished guest speaker Captain Benny Blanco who will share the current state of our region’s waterways. Captain Blanco is the owner and host of Guiding Flow TV, an award-winning conservationist, and tournament-winning fishing guide. Guests will enjoy engaging presentations, silent and live auctions, and the presentation of prestigious awards to individuals and organizations that have demonstrated exceptional dedication to water conservation and environmental stewardship.
