Batter up for Moffitt’s 16th Annual Spring Swing Sun Safety Tour offering free screenings at Florida ballparks

Moffitt Cancer Center‘s Spring Swing Sun Safety Tour offers free skin cancer screenings at specified baseball spring training venues throughout Florida. Screeners look for early signs of skin cancer and promote sun safety with help from Moffitt’s Mole Patrol team. Free giveaways include sunscreen, lip balm and fans.

For the past 15 years, Spring Swing has provided more than 5,000 free skin cancer screenings. Our experts have detected 5,183 suspected cancerous lesions, including 27 suspected melanomas, which is the deadliest form of skin cancer.

Join Moffitt for the 2024 Spring Swing Sun Safety Tour to receive a free skin cancer screening at the following spring training venues:

• Sunday, Feb. 25, 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. – New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays, Steinbrenner Field, Tampa

• Saturday, March 16, 1:30 – 4 p.m. – Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Detroit Tigers, LECOM Park, Bradenton

• Sunday, March 17, 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees, JetBlue Park at Fenway South, Fort Myers
