An annual pub crawl celebrating the Irish culture takes place this Friday in downtown Cape Coral, where festive drinks can be found in abundance.

The South Cape St. Patrick’s Day Trolley event goes down from 7 to 11 p.m. and is put on by the South Cape Hospitality & Entertainment Association.

The 21+ festivities take trolley-goers to 11 locations to enjoy $2.50 full-sized specialty cocktails at each venue.

“Enjoy a night of St. Patrick’s Day fun,” stated event organizers. “Trolley hosts will keep you entertained along the way with St. Patrick’s Day trivia and giveaways.”

Attendees who get their passport stamped at all 11 locations will be entered to win the grand prize of a cooler and swag sponsored by JJ Taylor. Just leave your completed passport on a trolley or at a participating venue.

Tickets include a wristband to board the trolleys and get specialty discounted drinks, unlimited trolley rides, giveaways, and trivia. Get dressed for the occasion and head to the Dolphin Key Resort (under the entry awning) for access to the official photo booth and entry into the photo booth contest where the winner gets four tickets to the annual Red, White & Brew Trolley Event on June 24.

“Expect lots of entertainment, including live music, dancing, singing and more,” SCHEA officials stated.

Guests can check-in from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the entry of the Dolphin Key Resort and also Big John’s Plaza. Late check-in will take place at Dolphin Key until 10 p.m. Valid ID at check-in will be required. Tickets can be purchased online and are $20 each in advance and $25 day-of.
