Where to get mental health help in Southwest Florida

By Staff | Oct 21, 2022

Avow Hospice

Avow is a nonprofit provider of hospice, palliative care and grief support services in Collier County.

Adults struggling to cope with loss have found understanding, acceptance, and gentle guidance from Avow’s professional bereavement staff members since our founding in 1983.

Groups meet in person at the Center for Grief Support on our campus or virtually, through tools like Zoom® video conferencing.

Anyone is welcome at the Center for Grief Support, even if your loved one was not an Avow patient. The center is at 1223 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples. There is never a cost for care.

To talk to a bereavement counselor, call 239-261-4404 or 888-484-AVOW (2869). During business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.) you will be connected to a member of our bereavement support team. After hours, and on holidays and weekends, a member of our staff will arrange for a bereavement counselor to follow up with you as soon as possible.

Avow also offers grief support for children through its Avow Kids program. For information, visit avowcares.org/avow-kids.
