The Lee County Homeless Coalition Board of Directors recently announced that Therese Everly has been selected as the new executive director for the organization. She will succeed Janet Bartos, who is retiring at the end of August after 14 years leading the organization.

Everly has been a resident of Lee County since 1975. She has worked in various aspects of non-profit and health care organizations for over 30 years as a clinician, educator, medical sales, care management, health care policy and volunteer. She is a registered respiratory therapist and has a bachelor’s degree in health administration from Hodges University. She is also an active Florida licensed Realtor for over 30 years working at Rossman Realty with experience is sales and property management.
