An artists’ reception is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 6, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Cape Coral Public Library at 921 S.W. 39th Terrace.

Enjoy some light refreshments and meet the talented artists whose work will be displayed during the month of February in the library’s art gallery.

The exhibit will include paintings by nine members of the Portrait and Figure Painters Society of SW Florida: Cathy Beard, Huguette Haaland, Ira Hofmann, Marianne Keefe, Ed Kosiewicz, Javier Martinez, Nadi Reuter, Lyn Sisti-Sommer and Debbie Slisher.

The gallery cases will feature jewelry by Sandy Jones, fused glass by Patty Arenburg, handcrafted cards by Dona Malone and stained glass by John Doniphan.
