Lee County’s goals and challenges in 2024 will be addressed by Mike Greenwell, chair of the Lee County Board of County Commissioners, at the Real Estate Investment Society (REIS) luncheon meeting on Tuesday, March 12.

Greenwell’s presentation will focus on the county’s budget, managing growth and infrastructure, and hurricane recovery. The commissioner is also expected to discuss legislative priorities and options for restructuring county government. Following the presentation, Greenwell will respond to questions of specific interest to the real estate investment and development industry.

He also serves on the Board of Port Commissioners, which governs the Lee County Port Authority, and on the Metropolitan Planning Organization and Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council.

The meeting is sponsored by LSI Companies, and will begin promptly at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12 in the Osprey Room at Pelican Preserve’s Clubhouse, on Treeline Avenue at Colonial Boulevard, a mile east of I-75 exit 136 in Fort Myers.
