By Staff | Feb 14, 2024

Waste Management will be holding a two-day, onsite hiring event in Lee County, as well as in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties, on Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9. WM Career Days aim to fill CDL driver and mechanic job openings in Lee County. Benefits include education benefits for eligible team members, their spouses and dependents.

WM Career Days will provide candidates with an opportunity to interview for CDL driver and mechanic positions in-person with WM hiring managers and potentially be extended a same-day job offer.

Through its Your Tomorrow Program, WM will pay 100 percent of benefits-eligible team members’ tuition, books and fees for 135-plus education programs. WM will also contribute up to $12,000 a year for 40-plus master’s programs that often covers the entire program cost. And now, spouses and eligible dependents are able to take advantage of this benefit, too.

WM Career Days will run on Friday, March 8 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Saturday, March 9 from 8 a.m. to noon. The event will be held at WM of Fort Myers at 11990 State Road 82 in Fort Myers.
