Divine Donuts is nothing short of divine.

The doughnut shop opened over six months ago at 1110 Del Prado Blvd., S., Unit E, Cape Coral.

It features over 200 yeast and cake doughnut varieties with over 45 variations of delectable doughnuts, breakfast items and specialty coffees made fresh daily.

Michelle Nobles co-owns the restaurant along with her husband Eddie.

They opened their first location in Fort Myers in 2018. But a lot of customers had been asking for years if they were planning on opening more.

“We were looking at where we could open that was somewhat nearby, but had a decent amount of customers that venture to us for quality doughnuts made from scratch,” Michelle said.

She thought Cape Coral could use a specialty doughnut shop, so she and her husband made it happen.

“No one in the area really offers anything quite like this,” she said.

As far as flavors go, it’s almost anything goes.

“We’re pretty creative foodie people,” Michelle said. “If we think it would be cool to have this or that, we make it and see how it does.”

She loves Nutella so she came up with Nutella Dream donuts.

“But I can’t take all of the credit. Out decorators are very open minded,” she said. “I give them free reign with whatever they want to be creative with.”

Nothing is premade or frozen.

They also offer doughnut sandwiches like a chicken maple and a Cronut breakfast sandwich.

Divine Doughnuts has been opened for a little over six months. So far, one of the top sellers is apple fritters.

“They almost always sell out very quickly,” Michelle said.

As far as doughnuts go, customers are loving the Samoa doughnuts.

Oreo doughnuts are also popular. Michelle sad they fly off the shelves.

Her favorites are the red velvet cream cheese and guava cream cheese.

You also can’t beat an old-fashioned glazed or sour cream doughnut.

Divine Doughnuts tends to sell out quickly, but there is always the option to call and order ahead.

Vegan and gluten-free doughnuts are also available via pre-order of six or more.
