The Gulf Coast Town Center, in partnership with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, is having a free family-friendly event this Saturday in the courtyard from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Back-to-School Summer Luau Bash & School Supply Drive will feature live music, games, roaming characters, face painting, a photo booth, a scavenger hunt and more.

Through the month of July, the community has been submitting nominations for a Lee County teacher to be recognized as the most appreciated teacher of 2022. The winning teacher will be announced and presented with an award and GCTC gift basket filled with gift cards and goodies.

School Supply Drive: Guests are encouraged to bring or purchase supplies and donate directly to support teachers in Lee County. Currently, there is a collection box outside of the LSCO Outreach Center in Gulf Coast Town Center to collect donations leading up to the event.
