Only two lots remain in Horse Creek community

Horse Creek, a community of custom homes on estate-sized lots in Fort Myers, is nearly sold out as only two acre-plus properties are remaining for sale.

One of the few subdivisions in Southwest Florida offering minimum one-acre lots, Horse Creek provides a natural setting on the Orange River and welcoming Old Florida home designs by the exclusive builder and developer Daniel Wayne Homes, Inc.

Horse Creek has seen overwhelming success as it continues to attract homebuyers looking to embrace a traditional sense of living and own a larger property. The community was designed as an exclusive enclave on 220 acres with only 113 total residential lots.

At Horse Creek, buyers have the opportunity to work one on one with Daniel Wayne Homes to design their ideal home. There are multiple floorplans to choose from, including ones that accommodate multigenerational living, or there is the option to go entirely custom.

To view an interactive map of the community, visit horsecreekcommunity.com/site-plan/, or for more information, contact Jason Chodakowsky at 239-332-7335.

Horse Creek is located on Horse Creek Boulevard, just north of Orange River Road.

GATES Construction partners with Gilbane to build New Gulfshore Playhouse Theatre

GATES Construction has partnered with Gilbane in a joint venture to build the Gulfshore Playhouse Theatre in Naples. The state-of-the-art 40,000-square-foot facility, situated on a three-acre parcel at the corner of 1st Avenue South and Goodlette-Frank Road, will extend the heart of downtown to the east of 9th Street in an expressive, sculptural design inspired by visions of the waves and sand of the Paradise Coast.

Upon entering the building, patrons will be welcomed by an airy reception lobby featuring lounge areas and the theatre’s bar. The complex will include a 350-seat state-of-the-art proscenium-style theatre, which will be used for large-cast productions presented on a grand scale while still providing the intimacy and close proximity to the stage that Gulfshore Playhouse patrons have come to know and love. The stage will be an equivalent size and scale as a Broadway theatre.

Additionally, there will be a secondary 150-seat black box studio theatre. Audience comfort, sightlines and state-of-the-art acoustics remained priorities throughout the design. The new facility will also offer educational programs for children, teens and adults.

Design Services are provided by H3-Arquitectonica.
