Pine Island Nicholas Coffee LLC purchases retail strip center in Cape

Pine Island Nicholas Coffee LLC has purchased the retail strip center at 706 S. Pine Island Road in Cape Coral for $5,025,000.

The newly constructed, 10,454-square-foot center on 1.6 acres sold with 100 percent occupancy from national retailers who filled several voids in the Cape Coral submarket.

Dunkin is one of the busiest throughout Southwest Florida, given its highly visible location. Verizon satisfied a demanding area that historically lacked communication providers. Modern Dental, the high-end dental practice, is performing well amidst the pandemic.

LandQwest Founding Principal, Rokki Rogan, CDPE, represented the seller, EBCP 700 Pine Island LLC.

Pope earns board certification in construction law

The Pavese Law Firm has announced that attorney Christopher L. Pope recently earned board certification in construction law in the Florida State Bar. In 2019, Pope also became board certified in condominium and planned development law, making him one of only two attorneys in Florida, and the only one in Southwest Florida, to have both of these specialty certifications.

Board certification is the highest level of recognition by the Florida Bar. Only about 7% of Florida’s more than 107,000 lawyers have earned board certification. In the past five years, an average of only 39.3% of those seeking Board Certification in Construction Law qualified for this prestigious recognition.

Lawyers certified in construction law deal with matters relating to the design and construction of improvements on private and public projects. To become board certified, lawyers are evaluated by their peers, must meet the highest standards for special knowledge, and demonstrate the skill, character, ethics, and reputation for professionalism. This evaluation requires passing a rigorous examination administered by the Florida Bar.

Pope joined the Pavese Law Firm in 2012 and became a partner in 2018. His clients include top national homebuilders, contractors, developers, condominiums and community associations.

Pavese Law Firm is a full-service law firm with offices in Fort Myers, Cape Coral and West Palm Beach. The firm provides a broad range of legal services for individuals, families, small businesses, and large corporations. Practice areas include agricultural, banking and finance, bankruptcy, business and corporate, civil litigation, condominium and homeowners’ association law, construction, employment, environmental and water, estate planning, probate and trusts, marital and family, land use, and government, and real estate law.
