The Florida Department of Health in Lee County has lifted the water quality advisory for the Cape Coral Yacht Club at 5819 Driftwood Parkway.

Tests completed on Monday, Jan. 22, indicate that the water quality at the Yacht Club meets the recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria recommended by the Florida Department of Health, a release from DOH-Lee received this morning states.

DOH-Lee will continue beach water quality monitoring year-round in Lee County with water samples collected and tested on a weekly basis. New results are posted on the Florida Healthy Beaches Program website at https://lee.floridahealth.gov/programs-and-services/environmental-health/healthy-beaches/index.html.
