Water main shutdown on Palm Tree Boulevard announced
A water main shutdown on Palm Tree Boulevard has been scheduled for Nov. 11.
The shutdown will occur near Palm Tree beginning at 9 a.m. Monday so city crews can install water main tie-ins.
The shutdown will affect nearly 300 customers, and customers in South Cape Coral area may experience lower water pressure, especially toward the Yacht Club area. Work is anticipated to be complete by end of day Monday, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Following the restoration of access to drinking water, residents should boil water for one minute or use bottled water as a precaution until the advisory has been lifted. This applies to water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, washing dishes, and brushing teeth.
