The Florida Highway Patrol is conducting “Operation HEAT – Interstate 75,” today, Nov. 15, through Thursday, Nov. 18. The purpose of the detail is to increase traffic enforcement efforts and reduce traffic crashes resulting in property damage, injury and death in Charlotte, Lee and Sarasota counties.
