Shortly after 11:30 today, Cape Coral Police reported that officers and emergency personnel are on the scene of a serious crash at the corner of Burnt Store Road and Southwest Pine Island Road. The CCPD has indicated that significant traffic delays are expected.

Drivers ark asked to please avoid the area and seek an alternate route.
