Created to commend students demonstrating resilience and determination in and outside of the classroom, the program will award one deserving student with a $10,000 scholarship.

Applications are currently open for college-bound high school seniors from the School District of Lee County, including Bonita Springs High, Cape Coral High, Cypress Lake High, Dunbar High, East Lee County High, Estero High, Fort Myers High, Gateway High, Ida S. Baker High, Island Coast High, Lehigh Senior High, Mariner High, North Fort Myers High, Riverdale High and South Fort Myers High. Students from the above schools are encouraged to apply by submitting an essay for the opportunity to earn the $10,000 scholarship.
