All are invited to the Friends of the Cape Coral Library General Meeting Saturday, Sept. 16. The morning will begin at 9:30 with light refreshments. The business portion of the meeting will start at 10 a.m., and followed by the program featuring guest speaker Greg Rule, WINK News Meteorologist.

Rule will give a presentation on hurricane forecasting and preparedness- recapping the timeline of Hurricane Ian, what was learned and what can be done better if another major hurricane hits our area. He will also give us a look at real time satellites and radar and what — if anything — is brewing in the tropics.

FOCCL General Meetings, which take place in the large meeting room of the Cape Coral Library at 921 S.W. 39th Terrace, are free and open to the public. Everyone’s welcome to bring a guest or two.
