Pastor Lauren Davis

Faith Presbyterian Church, 4544 Coronado Parkway, this week announced that Lauren Davis has been added to the staff as interim associate pastor. She is working with youth, providing pastoral care and serving as staff liaison to several church committees and programs.

Lauren is a native of West Virginia, graduated in 2018 from Bethany College with a B.S. in psychology, and received her master of divinity degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in 2022.

She served as an Americorps VISTA while in college and worked for the YWCA in Charleston, W.Va., before starting seminary. Most recently, she has been a student minister at Riverview United Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh. She is also in training to be a Navy chaplain.

The Peace River Presbytery of the PCUSA recently approved her for ordination, which will occur later this year.

Founded in 1961, Faith Presbyterian is one of the oldest churches in the Cape Coral and was the first to erect a church building in 1963.

Worship services are at 9:30 and 11 a.m.
