Next month’s roster of activities at Cape Coral Lee County Public Library offers topics for all ages. The following activities are free to the public:

Adult Programs

Medicare Open Enrollment — Information Session

2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 2

Learn about your Medicare options, how to save on Part D costs and prepare for the Medicare Open Enrollment Period.

English Café

6 p.m., Tuesdays, Nov. 2, 9, 16, 30

10 a.m., Fridays, Nov. 5, 12, 19

Free, informal conversation sessions for adult ESOL/ESL students.

Bring Your Own Book

11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 3

Join us for a stimulating book discussion on your favorite book or any recent book you have read. Bring along your books and get recommendations for new titles.

Family Game Night

4 p.m., Monday, Nov. 8

Join us for a family-friendly game night during International Games and Puzzles Week. Try your hand at a variety of board games, card games and video games.

11 a.m., Tuesdays, Nov. 9, 23

Receive personalized help downloading e-books, movies, music and more from Overdrive and Hoopla, two of Lee County Library System’s largest online content providers. Bring your fully charged digital device for this hands-on help session.

Turf Diseases and Remedies

2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 18

Join this special presentation by the Master Gardeners of Lee County about turf diseases and remedies.

Children’s Programs

Preschool Storytime

11 a.m., Mondays, Nov. 1, 8, 15, 29

For ages 3-5. Children attend this program independently while parents and caregivers wait nearby. Space is limited. First come, first served.

Toddler Tales

10 & 11 a.m., Wednesdays, Nov. 3, 10, 17

For ages 18-36 months and caregivers. Toddlers and caregivers move and groove during this interactive storytime. Space is limited. First come, first served.

Baby Rhyme Time

10 a.m., Thursdays, Nov. 4, 18

For babies up to 18 months. Babies and caregivers wiggle and giggle in a supportive environment. Space is limited. First come, first served.

Kids Read Down Fines

1-2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 6

Children and teens can earn a $2 credit on overdue fines for every 15 minutes they read in the designated area for a total of $8 in one session. Please bring your library card.

Family Game Night

4 p.m., Monday, Nov. 8

Join us for a family-friendly game night during International Games and Puzzles Week. Try your hand at a variety of board games, card games and video games.

All-Abilities Kids Storytime

10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 13

For ages 3-12 and caregivers. This storytime emphasizes books, music and sensory experiences designed for children with adaptive needs and their families. Using visual schedule boards, stories are told through multiple modalities. This creates a positive storytime experience in a quieter environment with reduced sensory stimuli. Class size is limited to 10 children, plus their caregivers. First come, first served.

Family Storytime

10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 20

For children through age 5 and caregivers. Families with young children enjoy a variety of stories, songs, rhymes and movement. Space is limited. First come, first served.

Fandom Board Games

2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 23

Kick it old school with our collection of fandom board games including Harry Potter, Disney and Paw Patrol. For ages 6-11.

Teen Programs

Kids Read Down Fines

Anime Club

4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 9

For teens and tweens interested in anime, manga and Japanese culture. Watch anime with friends and make themed crafts. For ages 11-18. Sponsored by the Friends of the Cape Coral Public Library.
