By Staff | Nov 19, 2020

The holiday season may be more stressful this year, but the Zonta Club of Cape Coral has a fun alternative — Virtual Bingo to benefit Angel Wings of Southwest Florida Tuesday, Dec. 8.

“Doors” open at 5:30 p.m. Games will begin at 6p.m. The fee is $10 per card.

Open to everyone! They will be playing 4 games, and it is a great way to meet new people and give to a good cause. Prizes to be awarded.

To participate in the event, contact the Zonta Club of Cape Coral at ZontaIn TheCape@gmail.com

Angel Wings of Southwest Florida is a new non-profit organization whose goal is to “provide emergency and short-term housing to homeless single women without dependents who want to become self-sufficient contributing members of our community.”

Dr. Helen Paulus Gierke, president of Angel Wings of Southwest Florida, will be the guest speaker. She will talk about the organization, the benefits to local citizens of Southwest Florida and how you can volunteer.

The Zonta Club of Cape Coral is made up of like-minded professionals from diverse cultures that is dedicated to empowering women and girls through service and advocacy. Currently it supports ACT (Abuse, Counseling and Treatment Center), Lifeline, PACE Center for Girls, Fearlessly Girl at Island Coast High School and Angel Wings. The club encourages and welcomes new members that will bring exciting ideas on how they can empower women in Cape Coral.
