Carole Bridges and Chris Zangla are proud to announce their engagement. Carole is the daughter of Helen Duchesne of Bristol, N.H. She is employed by the Caledonian Record and is also a full-time student seeking her Master’s degree in social services. Carole donates her free time to the state of Vermont as an advocate for battered women. Chris, employed as an independent contractor, is the son of Diana Reynolds of St. Johnsbury, Vt. and Bob Zangla of Florida. As a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks, the American Legion, and the Masonic Organization, Chris voluntarily spearheads many programs for the youth of Vermont. The couple will be united on June 19, 2010, surrounded by friends and family. A full Catholic ceremony is planned at the Queen of Peace in Danville, Vt. After honeymooning in Alaska, the couple will reside in St. Johnsbury, Vt.
