On Dec. 29, 2011, at sunset on Cape Coral Beach, Jason and Danielle exchanged romantic vows. The couple traveled from their home in Kentucky to get married and honeymoon in Cape Coral. Here, the couple tosses a rose in the water in memory of their daughter, MyaAlice, who recently passed away from a rare medical condition at the tender age of 53 days old. The day was a remembrance of their daughter, as well as a new beginning because the couple is now expecting another child. When one door closes God opens another. The couple now resides in Indiana.

Their ceremony was witnessed by Greg and Maui Okon, a Cape Coral couple, they met at a Cape deli on their wedding day. They mentioned they were getting married at sunset that same day and talked with them about the devastation they were suffering from the loss of their daughter. An immediate bond was formed, and they invited their new friends to their ceremony. Their new Cape friends arrived with a bottle of bubbly to toast them after the ceremony. It was a very special surprise to the newly married couple.

Lee Flowers, ministerial/notary officiant and owner of A Amore Weddings in Cape Coral helped plan the wedding and performed the ceremony. Professional photographer, Pete Fournier, took the ceremony photos.
