Jonas Hecht and his bride Veronika Peterkova

Groom Jonas Hecht and his bride, Veronika Peterkova, traveled from Czech Republic to have their wedding on the Florida beach. The ceremony date was significant because the vows were exchanged Nov. 11, 2011, at exactly 11 a.m. Accompanying the couple were friends and family also from the Czech Republic. After the ceremony and beach photos, the guests enjoyed the reception inside the posh La Playa Resort where the couple and guests were staying. After their honeymoon in Naples, the couple returned to their country. Katerina Klouckova, the couple’s best friend, who resides in Fort Myers, was instrumental in arranging the details and worked with Lee Flowers, owner of A Amore Weddings & Notary SWFL in Cape Coral, who connected Katerina with Lee’s professional wedding business associates who coordinated and provided professional photography, flowers, wedding cake, etc. Lee Flowers, owner of A Amore Weddings in Cape Coral, performed the ceremony and was also their wedding coordinator. Pete Fournier, professional photographer and videographer, was also heavily involved in capturing special moments of the wedding day.
