Airman Muniz

U.S. Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Alyssa C. Muniz graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Muniz is the daughter of Vicky Perez of Miami Lakes, Florida, and sister of Andy Muniz of West Palm Beach, Florida. She is the cousin of Stephanie Armas of Miami Gardens, Florida.

The airman is a 2012 graduate of William T. McFatter Technical College and High School, Davie, Florida. She earned an associate degree in 2016 from Florida SouthWestern State College, Fort Myers.
