Cape Coral native Sgt. 1st Class Shane Beckham, a military intelligence non-commissioned officer for the 303rd Military Intelligence Battalion, received the oath of enlistment from his wife, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Chastity Beckham, an imagery technician for the Division Special Troops Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad from Oxnard, Calif., at al-Faw Palace, March 2, during his re-enlistment ceremony. Sgt. Beckham works on Camp Slayer while his wife works on Camp Liberty. The Beckhams have been married for eight years and were previously deployed together to Bosnia.
