Amongst Cape Coral’s many attractions are the renowned Sun Splash Family Water Park, a family venue that attracts visitors and locals alike, the Cape Coral Historical Museum, and the Four-Mile Cove Ecological Park.

Highlighting here "Eco" Park, it is located next to Midpoint Bridge and is open daily from 8:00AM to sunset. The park consists of 365 acres of unspoiled wetlands and mangrove swamp on the Caloosahatchee River. It features a 4,200-foot walking trail and a visitor’s center. You can rent a canoe or kayak and explore the waters of its nature preserve, enjoy its picnic area, and reflect on courage at our Iwo Jima Memorial — one of only three life-size replicas in the world.

Not a month passes that it does not play host to a large, free event that welcomes the entire community and its surrounding areas. Among such events are Sounds of Jazz, held in late March; Red White & Boom — the Cape’s annual Fourth of July celebration; the annual In-Shore Red Fish Challenge in early August; the Festival of Lights, an annual celebration of the holiday spirit; and the Boat-a-Long, an event that inspires boaters to gussy up their yachts with lights and head into the southern canals — which fills both residents and visitors with the holiday spirit.
