2 min read

Cape Coral voters will fill four city council seats this fall, including the mayor’s office.

A primary election, for two of those seats, is Sept. 15 with the general election to be held Nov. 3.

In the primary, registered Cape Coral voters will cast ballots in races for mayor and District 6. The top two vote-getters in each race then will advance to the general election ballot where the races for districts 1 and 4 also will appear.

Candidates are:

Mayor’s Race: (Primary)*

n James Burch, the incumbent

n Roger Butler

n Stephen Lovejoy

n Robert Pizzolongo

n John Sullivan

District 6 (Primary)*

n Frank Antos Jr.

n John Cataldi Jr.

n Kevin McGrail

* Top two vote-getters advance

District 1 (General Election)

n Jim Martin

n “Kenneth” Marty McClain

District 4

n Dolores Bertolini, the incumbent

n Chris N. Chulakes-Leetz

Registered voters can cast a ballot in each race; city elections are non-partisan and citywide, meaning all voters living in Cape Coral can vote regardless of party affiliation or the District in which they live.
