1. platform:

the peoples candidate, not a politician, help people who are struggling by providing the services that are needed without laying off by cutting the waste in city government. end the fighting, the negativity and provide a voice for the working people.

2. top three issues:

(1).foreclosures, we need to end the bleeding, by providing financial relief, cut the waste, provide tax cuts not raise taxes or fees, if people have more money in their pockets than they can pay their bills. (2). uep, needs to be put on hold for a while until people can get their head above water, when they can financially afford it, it needs to be rebid locally, to local contractors, put our citizens to work, the council mismanagement so poorly in the past.(3). crime has increased, I will work with the police chief to expand the neighborhood watch program in the community, if you commit a misdemeanor you will do community service like cleaning the street islands of trash, landscaping the foreclosure lots and working with seniors, or other community oriented work to help your fellow Cape Coral neighbor.

3. leadership role:

the role of mayor is to lead, provide support, perform professionally not have lobbyists in your pocket, make decisions with a clear mind, keep your word, feel the pain of his or her fellow citizens, have a heart, be a good person, not a politician and always have a open mind.this is a city council type government, not a strong mayor type system, so the council members should have the same type of mentality, but I expect them to work diligently with the mayor to take care and I mean take care 365 days a year the people that put their faith in them to elect them to the office, if they turn their back on the people they represent they should quit and be replaced with someone who will do the right thing. I am very adamant on this and will not waffle on the role of government to its people.

4. UEP:

poor management, poor planning, politicians not people making decisions affecting people’s lives with no remorse. the fees were outrageously high, it should of been given to local workers, not out sourced. everything about it was done poorly, because hasty decisions were made by politicians, elect people not politicians, and it will be done in a proper way, which actually helps people not drive them out of Cape Coral.

5. budget priorities:

(budget priorities) ,making sure all essential services are untouched and all hourly workers that are essential to this city are not part of the hatchet, get rid of the waste and pork in upper management. the tax rate, my view is that it’s fine now but before we make any changes we must explore all aspects before we make any changes, make sure all our homework is done. my position on fees is unchanged do not start raising fees to get quick cash, because it will affect the hourly wager, working class person causing them to cut even more activities because the city raised fees on their essential services, the tax base needs to expand by providing tax cuts to the working people cultivating large highly trained businesses to Cape Coral which provide educated workers and a constant supply of revenue coming into the city and staying in the city. three specific cost cutting, (1), cut the waste, pork, the individuals sucking money out of this city with decisions not helping the people, (2) tax cuts for the working people giving them more money in there pockets, they will be able to pay there bills and spend the extra cash in our great city which helps the local merchants and stimulate the local economy. (3) all the perks that the mayor, council, and city manager and high ranking individuals that are not truly essential need to go away the savings will be use to make sure the 35 year old mother of two or the young firemen do not lose their jobs, the money we save from the pork will be put back in the general fund.

6. potential conflicts:

I have no affiliations, not one potential conflict of interest, I am not a member of affiliated with, supported or endorse by any issue-related group or organization. if i take contributions or are controlled by the local lobbyists, they’re funding me so they can receive favors when I am elected.
