GIRLS BASKETBALL
North Fort Myers 51, Ida Baker 17: Kelley Conley scored 18 points and pulled down 14 rebounds for the Red Knights (3-1). Teammate Lily Erickson had 17 points and 9 steals. Isabela Beauchamp scored 16 for the Bulldogs (1-4).
Oasis 50, LaBelle 46: The Sharks had three players in double figures. Tessa Bexfield and Gracie Louzao scored 16 points each, with Sofia Hall adding 11. Bexfield had nine rebounds, while Hall made nine steals.
Cape Coral 43, Mariner 19: Undefeated Cape Coral (6-0, 1-0 District 5A-11) dominated the second half to drop Mariner to 2-4, 0-2.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Cape Coral 75, Mariner 69: The Seahawks (5-0, 2-0 District 5A-11) got the best of their old rivals as the Tritons slipped to 4-4, 1-1.
Bishop Verot 46, Golden Gate 45 (OT): Playing their first game of the season, the Vikings needed overtime to nip Golden Gate (4-3). Dee Fletcher led Verot with 17 points, while Julius Calixte pulled down 12 rebounds.
North Fort Myers 78, Ida Baker 73: North (5-4) held off the host Bulldogs (3-3) for its second win in as many nights.
BOYS SOCCER
Mariner 2, Cape Coral 1: Rudy Lopez and Allesandro Gonzalez scored-half goals as the Trttons overcame the Seahawks’ 1-0 lead at intermission. Justin Medro assisted on the game-winner. Aiden Mace had three saves for the win in goal.
Ida Baker 1, North Fort Myers 0: The Bulldogs earned their first win (1-6-1) with an upset shutout of the Red Knights (7-3).
