Cape Coral 28, Charlotte 11: Jermaine Skinner had long touchdown runs of 58 and 82 yards to lead the 4-1 Seahawks to the win over Charlotte (3-2). Derek Hooker ran 5 yards for Cape Coral’s first touchdown and Mike Rodriguez-Garcia intercepted a pass from Charlotte’s Teegan Lipke and ran it back for a pick-six. Cape’s defense also broke up a potential Tarpons touchdown pass in the end zone. The Seahawks have won their last four games after dropping the season opener to North Fort Myers.
