Cape Coral 65, North Fort Myers 57: The Seahawks (10-7, 3-0 District 6A-11) held off the Red Knights (4-11, 0-2) Thursday to remain perfect in district play.
First Baptist Academy 68, Bishop Verot 20: FBA (11-4) downed the Vikings (2-13) in the Private 8 Conference tournament.
New Smyrna Beach 69, Island Coast 45: Thursday’s loss left the Gators’ record at 8-8.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Cape Coral 54, North Fort Myers 29: Cape (9-7, 1-1) got past the Red Knights (0-13, 0-1) in District 6A-11.
Seacrest Country Day 52, Bishop Verot 36: Carlyn Kelly and Josee Fry scored 10 points each for the Vikings (10-7) in the Private 8 Conference tourney.
LaBelle 74, Island Coast 26: The 14-6 Cowgirls dropped the Gators to 3-9.

Cypress Lake 3, Island Coast 1: Rahiem Buckley scored for the Gators (2-9-1).
Estero 1, Ida Baker 0: The Bulldogs (3-7) were shut out in a tight contest at Estero.
Bishop Verot 9, First Baptist Academy 1: Cooper Banks scored twice and made two assists as the Vikings cruised to victory in the first round of the Private 8 Conference tournament. Ryan Gadson also had two goals with one assist, and Raul Brandon had a goal and three assists. Also scoring were Vincent Lopez, Antonio Portes, Dylan Lukosaitis and Abe Magallanes. Christyan Fevrier Sildor made an assist.

First Baptist Academy 2, Bishop Verot 0: FBA scored two second-half goals to advance in the Private 8 Conference tournament. The Vikings fell to 3-5-1.
Island Coast 1, Cypress Lake 0: The Gators improved to 2-10 while dropping Cypress Lake to 2-7-3.

Ida Baker 57, East Lee County 25: Maia Berbebes posted a double double with 12 points and 15 rebounds for the Bulldogs (5-6). Nicole Bono led Ida Baker in scoring with 17 points and Makayla Nieves scored 14.
