Bishop Verot 2, Cape Coral 0: Alyvia Mueller and Lila Dinkle scored for the Vikings (1-1), with assists from Kylie Dutton and Lea Scotti. Liliian Nurnane had four saves for the shutout win in net. The loss left the Seahawks 1-1.
Mariner 7, Gulf Coast 0: Caroline Pelkofski scored twice for the Tritons (2-0), while Gloria Quintanilla and Ryleigh Acosta each had a goal and an assist. Marlee Gretz, Stephanie Saracione and Kelsi Longabardi also scored, and Sarah Paddock made an assist. Lataya Simmons and Sierra Ingram combined for nine saves.Mariner handed Gulf Coast its first loss (3-1).
North Fort Myers 1, Plantation American Heritage 1 (tie): Lexi Newman scored the Red Knights’ goal, assisted by Evie McCarthy. North improved to 1-0-2.
Charlotte 5, Island Coast 1: The Gators are off an 0-3 start.
Canterbury 2, Ida Baker 1: The Bulldogs are 0-2 with Thursday’s loss.

Bishop Verot 1, Cape Coral 1 (tie): Abraham Magallanes scored for the Vikings (0-1-1) on an assist by Anthony Becker, earning a draw with Cape Coral (1-0-1).
North Fort Myers 3, Island Coast 3 (tie): Rahiem Buckley and Juan Limpias scored for Island Coast, which also benefited from an own goal by North. The Gators are 1-1-1 and the Red Knights 0-2-2.
Gulf Coast 3, Mariner 1: Maximo Gorosito scored for Mariner on an assist by Caden Sandrus. Gulf Coast (2-0) dropped the Tritons to 1-2.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Bishop Verot 48, Ida Baker 40: Josee Fry scored 18 points and Cameron O’Halloran had 10 as the 2-0 Vikings downed the Bulldogs (1-1). Nicole Bono scored 15 for Ida Baker.
Island Coast 62, Canterbury 51: The Gators (1-1) got 22 points from Eyvette Osme and 21 points, 14 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 blocks from Avery Brincat. Aubrey Curry scored 18 points, had 6 steals and made 5 assists.
Lely 71, North Fort Myers 15: Lely is 2-0 and North is 0-2.
