Bishop Verot 48, Key West 14: Carter Smith threw six touchdown passes as the Vikings (7-2, 2-0) won the Class 2S District 16 title with a dominating win down in Key West. Smith hit Matthew Turner for his first three TD passes, good for 12, 17 and 81 yards. Tookie Watts (36 yards), Tre Watts (39 yards) and Riley Bowe (2 yards) also scored on Smith passes. Deaglan Carmon kicked a 38-yard field goal, and the Verot defense chipped in by tackling a Conchs runner in his own end zone.
North Fort Myers 36, Cape Coral 0: North clinched the Class 3S District 14 title by shutting out old rival Cape Coral (2-4, 0-2). Bo Summersett ran for two touchdowns, Gabriel Duross passed to Rashaw Snow for one score and ran for another, and Ceon Gordon had a rushing touchdown. Daniel Jaquiss kicked a 19-yard field goal. The Red Knights will enter the Class 3S playoffs against an opponent to be determined.
Lehigh 41, Ida Baker 0: The Bulldogs finished the year 3-4, 0-3 in District 4S-15. After a 3-1 start, Ida Baker lost its last three games.
Cornerstone Charter 30, Oasis 14: In the SSAC Division 2 championship game, Isiah Lozada and Colin Anderson ran for Oasis touchdowns as the Sharks’ season ended at 2-5. Colin Anderson had an interception for Oasis, and Jacob Hall was the Sharks’ leading tackler.
