San/Cap F.I.S.H. announces registration for annual 10K race

2 min read

Registration is open for F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva’s 14th Annual 10K Race 4 F.I.S.H.

This year’s race will be held in two formats — an in-person running event on Oct. 22 and a virtual option, where runners can participate and then submit their time before Oct. 22 at 11:59 p.m.

Participants will receive a runner’s tank with the Hortoon 10K logo.

To mark its 40th anniversary, F.I.S.H. has added a Kid’s Run, business expo and other opportunities this year. Proceeds raised from the race will benefit F.I.S.H. as it continues to meet the needs of islanders.

Registration cost is $40 for either format; there is no cost to register for the Kid’s Run.

Cielo is serving as the premier sponsor.

“Year after year, the Boler family, Marcus Preece and the entire Cielo team graciously support F.I.S.H. as premier sponsors of our annual race,” Race Committee Chair Nicole McHale said. “Their generosity and commitment to our community is incredible and we’re thankful for their support.”

Registration is open via the Fort Myers Track Club at https://www.ftmyerstrackclub.com.
