Port Charlotte 54, North Fort Myers 36: The Red Knights had a big night on offense, but the defense had no answer for a high-scoring Pirates squad. Rachad Snow ran for North touchdowns of 33 and 5 yards, while Bryce Duress hit TD passes of 10 yards to Jordan Carr and 50 yards to Santino Arroyo.
On special teams, Ceon Gortan snagged a deflected punt and ran 40 yards for a touchdown. Levontai Summersett scored a pair of two-point conversions. North rallied to come within 40-36 in the third quarter before Port Charlotte pulled away. On two other occasions, North got down around the Port Charlotte 10 yard line but was unable to put points on the board.
For the Pirates, Edd Guerrier scored three touchdowns, Justice Bercerill had two TDs and Bruce Eaton passed for one score and ran for a second. Ike Perry also had a Pirates touchdown.
