Mcardle-Sykes, a junior on the Sharks’ basketball team, averaged 24 points per game over three contests for his team during his nomination week, including a whopping 35-point night in a victory over Riverdale.

“I don’t normally try and be a big source of offense for the team, but the scoring has been coming more and more as the season progressed,” Mcardle-Sykes said. “I hit my open shots and my number one goal is to win.”
