Horan netted seven goals and added an assist in two matches for the 8-0-1 Red Knights last week, including a five-goal performance against Gulf Coast. Horan leads the team with 12 goals and ranks second in assists with five.

“The opponents of both those games were extremely different, so I tried to remind myself to remain grounded and play my own game the best I could. Going into the Gulf Coast game, I was definitely anxious to play against one of the best teams around, but once the game started, my nerves settled and I was able to just focus on the game and the way I was playing alongside my team. Being the only senior on a team largely composed of younger players, every game I try to go out and set an example, both on and off the field. The best anyone can do is give 100%, so I always attempt to demonstrate that myself.”
