Boys Soccer

Palmetto Ridge 7, North Fort Myers 1: The Red Knights are 0-3-1 on the season.

Cape Coral 2, Estero 2 (tie): An injury plagued Seahawks (1-1-2) team, missing eight players, rallied to pull out a draw with two late goals by Joao Soares and Solon Pinto.

Gulf Coast 3, Mariner 0: It was a rare shutout loss for the Tritons (3-1). Mariner coach Martin Cardenas said, “It’s a very young team that will learn from this experience and have better outings.”

Bishop Verot 8, Evangelical Christian 0: With a dominant victory, the Vikings are 2-1-1.

Ida Baker 5, Cypress Lake 0: The Bulldogs earned their first victory of the season (1-2-1).

Girls Soccer

Bishop Verot 3, Evangelical Christian 0: Two sophomores, Chloe Brown and Lindsey Walsh, had goals for the Vikings (4-0). Junior Geri Herrra also scored.

Ida Baker 2, Cypress Lake 0: Aubrey Tansey and Mya Drew had goals for the Bulldogs (3-1). Madison Reynolds made an assist.

Cape Coral 1, Estero 0: The victory raised the Seahawks’ record to 3-1. Cameron Fallacara scored the Cape girls soccer goal.

Girls Basketball

Cape Coral 57, Lehigh 45: The Seahawks have earned two wins in the first week of the season. Kylah Babernitch 24 points and 7 steals. Nicole Rodriguez 13 points, 14 rebounds and 8 steals.

Ida Baker 43, North Fort Myers 13: The Bulldogs are off to a 2-0 start, while the Red Knights are 0-2.

Boys Swimming

Ethan Koester from North Fort Myers High School finished 5th in the 50 freestyle in the recent Class 3A FHSAA swimming and diving meet in Stuart, Fla.
