A globally beloved golf experience is now open in Fort Myers, as Topgolf has officially arrived in Southwest Florida.

The venue’s grand opening this morning paves the way for residents and visitors across the region to enjoy all Topgolf has to offer.

“The whole entire team here is very excited,” said Topgolf Fort Myers Director of Operations Eddie Parisi. “The anticipation has been building up every week, every day, and we’re just very excited to get to that point where we’re going to open our doors.”

The open-air, two-level venue will feature 72 climate-controlled outdoor hitting bays, chef-inspired signature menu items, top-shelf drinks, music and year-round programming for all ages. Additionally, Topgolf Fort Myers is equipped with an outdoor patio, rooftop terrace and private event space.

Located at 2021 Topgolf Way behind the Colonial Square Town Center near the Cypress Lakes development, Topgolf Fort Myers becomes the seventh venue in the state, the others being in the Miami area, Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville.

Topgolf isn’t your average driving range experience, as guests take their shot from a first-class platform looking out onto a massive fairway. The facility is perfect for all skill levels, and there’s even a PGA certified pro on site. Topgolfers can see how far they can launch the ball or play games of accuracy, as the golf ball is tracked via a virtual system.

“We’re just not a driving range, we’re a lot more than that,” Parisi said. “We’re not just for the professional golfer or the amateur golfer, we’re for families, events – all ages. We have a fine menu that comes from a scratch kitchen and two great bars. The atmosphere itself, that energy that everybody brings, you can just feel it as soon as you walk in our front doors.”

Parisi said the venue is also ready to become engrained in the area and give back.

“We’re a true believer in giving back to the community,” Parisi said. “We strive to give back no matter where we are.”

Topgolf is sure to be a hit throughout the region, one that is chuck-full of golf-enthusiasts.

“With the community here in (Southwest Florida) – a huge golf community – I think it was a long time waiting. I think people are going to be excited,” Parisi said. “We love meeting and making connections with the community and new people that come into our home here, and we’re looking forward to people coming in.”

Topgolf Fort Myers is open Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to midnight; and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
