Lenius, a sophomore at Oasis High School, impressed on the bowling lanes this year and was selected as an Athlete of the Week for her performance versus Fort Myers in early October where she rolled a 230, including eight strikes and three spares.

“It was a pretty good game. I was going up against my best friend, so we had a lot of fun,” Lenius said of her accomplishment. “I like being able to throw the ball down the lane and hear the sounds of the pins crash.”

The Breeze looks forward to seeing what this young bowler has in store in the coming years, as well as the rest of the talented Oasis bowling roster.
