Oasis’ Hagler rolls to county record

Bowler has nine strikes, one spare in 278 game

By Staff | Oct 13, 2021

Kat Hagler of Oasis set a Lee County girls bowling record with a 278 game in Tuesday’s 5-0 Sharks win against South Fort Myers.

Hagler had nine strikes and a spare on Tuesday.

Being a high roller is nothing new for Hagler, who bowled a perfect 300 game for Coral Springs Charter School in 2019.

According to the U.S. High School Bowling Federation, Hagler broke the Lee County record of 269 by Jessica Davies of Island Coast in 2012.

Oasis dominated Tuesday’s contest, 778-462, winning all three Baker matches. Lexi Lenius had a 158 game and Maya Llanes a 113 for the Sharks.
