Island Coast 5, North Fort Myers 3: The Gators held off a seventh-inning rally by the Red Knights for the win. Jake Mueller was 3-for-3 with two RBI for Island Coast (14-4). AJ Finco, Emilo Gonzales and Kevin Martinez drove in a run each. Logan Smith, Brady Grados and Aiden Denlinger each had an RBI for North (9-9). Kevin Rodriguez went the distance on the mound for Island Coast.

Mariner 7, Ida Baker 3: John Ohime and Dominick Cotoni drove in two runs each for the Tritons (9-8), and Jeff Mackey, Nick Mackey and Mason Blackburn contributed an RBI each. The Bulldogs (4-14) rallied with three runs in the bottom of the seventh, but Matthew Morales came in and closed the door, striking out both batters he faced. Cayden Farmer, Aiden Powers and Walker Holmes drove in the three Ida Baker runs in the seventh.

Lely 6, Cape Coral 4: The Seahawks (5-13) made a late charge, scoring all four of their runs in the final two innings.

Bonita Springs 11, Oasis 1 (5 innings): Ryan Dewitt drove in the Sharks’ (6-7) run in the fifth inning.

Softball

North Fort Myers 18, Palmetto Ridge 5 (5 innings): The Red Knights upped their mark to 14-2 with a convincing Senior Night win. Sydney Morris (7-1), the winning pitcher, also singled, doubled and tripled, scoring three runs and driving in two. Alexis Morris had four hits and three RBI, Taylor Rosciti four RBI and two runs scored, and Kirsten Gnagey scored three times. Sophomore Kendall Wylie tripled twice on a four-hit night, driving in three runs.

Barron Collier 17, Oasis 7 (6 innings): The Sharks slipped to 5-7 on the season.

Girls lacrosse

Bishop Verot 19, First Baptist Academy 3: Tuesday’s win lifted the Vikings to 5-7.

Boys lacrosse

Bishop Verot 17, Fort Myers 5: Verot improved to 5-4 with a convincing victory.

Boys tennis

Cypress Lake 7, Mariner 0: Next up for the Tritons is the district tournament on April 13.
