Cape Coral 13, Gateway Charter 3 (5 innings): Avery Mytnik was 3-for-3 with two doubles, driving in four runs and scoring twice as the Seahawks (7-8) downed the Griffins (5-11). Rachel Manes homered, tripled, scored three runs and had three RBI. Abby Gonzalez had two RBI, Peyton Helton was 2-for-2, scoring three times; and Kirsten Lacombe drove in a run.

Barron Collier 10, Mariner 0 (5 innings): The Cougars’ Reese Gill pitched a five-inning no-hitter, striking out nine. The loss dropped Mariner to 3-9.

Baseball

Mariner 2, Cape Coral 0: Michael Scalese worked six scoreless innings, allowing three hits. William Wilson earned a save. Dominick Cotoni had two hits, including a double, and drove in a Tritons (7-8) run. Mason Blackburn also had an RBI. Sean Peace pitched three perfect innings of relief for the Seahawks (5-10), striking out three.
