Baseball

Ida Baker 5, North Fort Myers 2: A four-run bottom of the fifth lifted the Bulldogs (4-12) past the Red Knights (7-8) on Monday. Steven Thompson got the rally going with an RBI double. A passed ball made it 4-2, and Cayden Farmer’s RBI single brought in Thompson. Jonah Miley went the distance for the win on the mound. Landon Ford had an RBI triple and then came home to score for North.

Softball

North Fort Myers 19, Ida Baker 9 (6 innings):

North (11-2, 2-0 District 5A-8) was led by Alexis Morris, who drove in four runs against the Bulldogs (7-5, 1-1). Sydney Morris had three RBI and Kendall Wylie homered, doubled and drove in two runs. Also with two RBI each were Desirae Devine and Kirsten Gragey. Ida Baker got home runs from Makayla Nieves (three RBI) and Julianna Nieves (two RBI). Alana Hutchinson also drove in two Baker runs.
