Girls basketball

Ida Baker 48, Riverdale 42: The Bulldogs got their sixth win of the season (6-10) going into Thursday’s game at Bonita Springs.

Bishop Verot 48, Lely 30: Abby Powell scored 11 points and Payton Kramer 10 as the Vikings (5-14) won a home game against Lely. Verot plays Thursday at Seacrest Country Day.

Bonita Springs 33, Island Coast 32: After a narrow loss to the Bull Sharks, the Gators (3-8) will take on East Lee County on Thursday.

Cape Coral 63, SW Florida Christian 9: The Seahawks (13-5) had no trouble Tuesday in a dominant win at Southwest Florida Christian Academy (0-10). Cape travels to archrival Mariner on Thursday.

Oasis 55, Cypress Lake 22: Oasis (4-9) kept the Panthers winless (0-12).

Boys basketball

Ida Baker 65, Riverdale 56: A strong fourth quarter made the difference as the Bulldogs (7-3) bested Riverdale. Johnny Edwards scored 20 points for Baker, and Bo Summersett had 19 points. Ishmael Hajmoussa contributed 12 points and 8 rebounds. Next up for Ida Baker is Immokalee on Thursday.

SW Florida Christian 62, Cape Coral 50: SFCA (9-6) dominated the second half 45-25 to down the Seahawks (4-8). On Wednesday, Cape Coral has a District 5A-11 game at Port Charlotte.

Lely 72, Mariner 55: The Tritons (7-5) were unable to overcome a big halftime deficit. Mariner travels to Cape Coral on Friday.

Girls soccer

Mariner 1, Naples 1: The Tritons (9-4-3) settled for a draw with Naples (4-2-2). Riverdale comes to Mariner on Thursday.

North Fort Myers 2, North Port 2: Two teams ranked in MaxPreps’ top 10 in their classes played to a draw in North Port. The Red Knights were 10-1-3 after the match, while the Bobcats were 8-4-1. North travels to Island Coast on Thursday.

Oasis 8, Dunbar 0: The Sharks (5-3) rolled past the Tigers (5-5). Oasis is home Thursday against Ida Baker in a backyard showdown.

Boys soccer

Island Coast 4, Bonita Springs 0: Jimsanderson Midy scored twice, William Pinto Arriaga had a goal and an assist, and Tommy Forte added a goal for the Gators (7-3-2). Enrique Gomez, Orlando Vargas, Jose Rojas and Anthony Bennett-Hiza contributed assists.

Naples 5, Mariner 2: The Tritons fell to 11-4-2 after a loss at Naples. Marcos Grimado scored on the rebound of Santi Guerrero’s shot to put the Tritons up 1-0. Sean Paul Negron’s free kick tied the match at 2. Mariner plays Thursday at Riverdale.

Dunbar 2, Oasis 1: Oasis (6-5-1) was defeated Tuesday by the 3-7-2 Tigers. The Sharks are home Thursday to play Ida Baker.

North Port 8, North Fort Myers 0: The Red Knights (0-14) travel to Island Coast on Thursday.

Cape Coral 2, Bishop Verot 2: Austin Ferguson scored both Seahawks (6-4-3) goals. The Vikings (5-5-3) play Labelle on Thursday, and Cape is at Barron Collier on Friday.

Wednesday

Girls basketball

Lemon Bay 44, Oasis 24: The Manta Rays scored 21 of their 44 points in the third quarter to run away with the win over the Sharks (4-10). Oasis will seek to bounce back Friday at home against Marco Island Academy.

Dunbar 95, North Fort Myers 5: The 17-0 Tigers showed no mercy to the 1-6 Red Knights. North plays Friday at Ida Baker.

Boys basketball

Port Charlotte 68, Cape Coral 53: Cape fell to 4-9, 1-3 following a road District 5A-11 loss to Port Charlotte (7-2, 2-0). The Seahawks are home Friday against Mariner.
