Mariner 3, Cape Coral 1: The Tritons (7-1-2) broke a 1-1 halftime tie with a pair of goals to down their arch rivals, the Seahawks (5-4-1).

Ida Baker 8, Island Coast 0:The Bulldogs defeated Island Coast to stand at 4-4 overall, 1-2 in District 5A-11. For the Gators, it was a slip to 3-5, 0-2.

North Fort Myers 1, Naples 0: The Red Knights remained unbeaten (6-0-2) on the year by shutting out Naples (3-2).

Boys basketball

Ida Baker 60, Cape Coral 47: Baker picked up a District 5A-11 victory, improving to 2-3, 2-1 in the district. The Seahawks fell to 2-3, 1-1.

Mariner 81, North Fort Myers 54: The Tritons (6-1) had 74 points — half of them coming in the third quarter — and coasted to a victory against the Red Knights (1-4).

Boys soccer

Oasis 4, Dunbar 2: A dominating second half (3-1) propelled the Sharks (4-2-1) past the Tigers (1-5).

Ida Baker 1, Island Coast 1: The crosstown rivals played to a draw, leaving Ida Baker 2-7-1, 1-0-1 in District 5A-11, and Island Coast with a mark of 3-2-2, 0-1-1. Jose Rojas scored the Gators’ goal on an assist by Victor Blanco.

Naples 9, North Fort Myers 1: The Golden Eagles (5-2) kept the Red Knights winless (0-8) on the season.

Girls basketball

Mariner 54, North Fort Myers 31: Make it two wins in a row for the Tritons (2-6). Mary Campbell scored 11 points for the Red Knights (0-3). North is home against Cypress Lake and Mariner faces visiting Lehigh on Friday

Evangelical Christian 53, Ida Baker 30: The undefeated (7-0) Sentinels of ECS dropped the Bulldogs to 3-4 on the season. Ida Baker travels to Riverdale on Monday.

Marco Island Academy 44, Oasis 41 (OT): The Sharks (2-5) saw Marco Island rally in the fourth quarter to force overtime, then take the win.

Boys soccer

Bishop Verot 5, North Fort Myers 1: Declan Camron had a hat trick to lead the Vikings, including a penalty kick. Jacob Farren scored two second-half goals. Goaltender Cameron Lynch made a save on a North penalty kick, his second PK save of the season. The Vikings even their season mark at 3-3-2 with their victory against the Red Knights (0-7). Bishop Verot is home Friday to take on Estero.
