Boys soccer

Island Coast 6, Lehigh 3: Raising their record to 3-1-2, the Gators earned their second win in as many days. Next up is a Monday trip to Cape Coral.

Bishop Verot 5, Charlotte 0: Verot (1-2-2) grabbed its first victory of the season, dominating a 2-6 Tarpons side. The Vikings play host to Lehigh on Thursday.

Girls soccer

Island Coast 3, Lehigh 1: The Gators evened their mark at 3-3, leaving Dunbar 0-3-2. Island Coast plays Monday at Cape Coral.

Mariner 7, Fort Myers 0: Gloria Quintanilla led the way with two goals and two assists as the Tritons (6-0) blanked Fort Myers.  Cameron Fallacara posted two goals and an assist, Ariana Wilson and Ryleigh Acosta each contributed a goal and an assist, and Sarah Paddock contributed two assists.  Sierra Ingram earned the shutout in goal.  

Girls basketball

Community School of Naples 60, Oasis 22:  CSN (3-0) took a 17-0 lead, and the Sharks (1-3) were unable to recover. Oasis’ next game is Monday at Imagine School in North Port.

Boys basketball

Mariner 80, East Lee County 41: Wednesday’s win lifted Mariner to 3-1 on the young season, and dropped the Jaguars to 0-2.  The Tritons travel to Ida Baker on Friday.
