Bishop Verot 64, Ida Baker 63: Andreas Mantz hit two free throws in the final seconds to complete the Vikings’ rally from a 12-point deficit. Mantz had 13 points on the night, while Denzel Redd led Verot (7-5) with 27 points. Devyn Bradwell hit eight 3-points baskets on his way to 28 points for Ida Baker. Andrew Wells contributed a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. The defeat, their fifth in a row, drops the Bulldogs to 6-8 heading into a rivalry game Thursday at Cape Coral. Thursday’s game will be Ida Baker’s first at full strength since before that skid began.
